Rider Pride

What a weekend! After a beautiful wedding on Friday night, it was off to Edmonton on Saturday for my first ever live football game. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know alot about football. My whole reason for going to this game was for the fans. The Saskatchewan Roughriders really do have the best fans! The atmosphere at the games in contagious and such fun to be around.

Of course, I had to get into the spirit of things even with my big belly! Can't hide it, so might as well embrace it!



Tracy wore her jersey and we were off to the game! My maternity shirt definitely got alot of attention. Towards the end of the game I couldn't walk more than five feet without some strange guy wanting to high-5 me. Kinda like "way to go for breeding the next generation of fans!" Even if they were a bunch of drunks, it was still a blast!

The seats were amazing, second row and practically on the field with the guys. This was the view from our seats....

It was hard to believe that this was an away game. The Rider fans definitely outnumbered the Eskimos. I'm already looking forward to next summer when we go to a home game. I'll definitely be painting my face for that one. I'm sure we'll see alot more guys like this...



We truly do have the best fans in the CFL!
